One of her most well-known parts was her role in the role of Emily Hartley in the TV series The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978. In 1989 Pleshette starred as Christine Broderick in the series Nightingales. She played Jackie Hansen in the television series The Boys Are Back from 1994 until 1995. Pleshette was a regular character in the TV series Suzanne Pleshette is Maggie Briggs, Good Morning, Miami, 8 Simple Rules, Will & Grace. She was also a part of The Geisha Boy and The Birds. For her vocal work in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, she was nominated for an Annie Award. Pleshette was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards.
